I know what it’s like to be up all night, barely functioning.

To dread bedtimes because they take forever. To feel the tension rising in your relationship because neither of you can remember the last time you had a proper evening together. To feel that awful guilt of being snappy with your child, then wondering if they can feel your stress.

To feel lonely, confused and unsure where to turn when nothing seems to work.

I’ve been there.

My story

My eldest was the definition of a Velcro baby - sleeping in short bursts, needing me constantly and turning nights into an exhausting blur. 

When I finally reached out for help and it didn’t work, I was told she must have health problems and to take her to the doctor! 

(Spoiler: she didn’t! The real issue? The generic, one-size-fits-all sleep advice I’d been given. It wasn’t tailored to her or our family.)

After years juggling a demanding corporate job and two little ones, I hit a wall. I was burnt out and felt like I was failing at everything. Getting support - for me, not just the kids - changed everything.

I realised how much of my identity had become about “just coping”. I realised how many other parents were quietly doing the same - exhausted, anxious and disconnected. 

That’s when I knew I had to do something that would truly help other families. 

Why I do this work

Part of my drive comes from my own experience: I lost my dad to suicide when I was five.

Mental health has always been close to my heart and discovering that sleep deprivation is a major contributor to postnatal depression was a lightbulb moment for me. 

This isn’t just about sleep, it’s about wellbeing. 

When families get the right support early, they can avoid the spiral into burnout, overwhelm and disconnection.

That’s why I created Creating Dreams Sleep Solutions - to offer compassionate, realistic sleep support that puts the whole family first.

I’m a Certified Responsive Sleep Consultant, trained in gentle, evidence-based methods that prioritise connection, safety and flexibility. 

My work is fully informed by safe sleep guidance from leading UK organisations and rooted in a wellbeing first, parent-friendly ethos. Because sleep isn’t just about naps and bedtimes - it’s about how your whole family feels. 

Yes, I help babies, toddlers and young children sleep better.

But I also help parents feel calmer, couples reconnect, and families function again.

And I do it in a way that fits into real life: 

  • No rigid schedules that stop you leaving the house

  • No pressure to sleep train if it doesn’t feel right

  • No guilt for needing support

Yes, I’ve got the training but I’m also a real Mum who knows just how tough this can be.

I’ve walked the hard path (and let’s be honest, I’m still walking it because sleep isn’t the only parenting challenge!) and I bring honesty, humour and zero judgement to everything I do.
